What happens after you take a Functional Health Test?

When you order a Functional Health Test through me, I include an exclusive complimentary session to help you interpret, understand, and integrate the results of your test. This complimentary session does not, however, include treatment recommendations.

Beyond the Complimentary Session: Treatment Plans

After your complimentary session - when you thoroughly understand how the imbalances that may have showed up in your test results impact your health and well-being - you are probably going to want to do something about them. After all, why would you identify an imbalance and leave it untreated only to continually wreck havoc in your life?

The Four Rs

When get the results from a Functional Health Test (FHT), it highlights imbalances in the FUNCTIONING of one of your body’s core physiological systems - and rarely is that a medical problem - yet.

Functional Health Tests can reveal the imbalances in a body system BEFORE it gets to a disease or illness. When we treat the results of a FHT, our aim is to restore optimal functioning to your body and for the most part drugs are not needed to do that. Treating functional imbalances is different than treating symptoms, which is the purpose of drugs and the focus of medical doctors.

To restore optimal balance in a body system we use the 4 Rs as a guideline.

Remove - We Remove things that don’t belong – like pathogenic bacteria in the gut or overproduction of cortisol from the adrenals.

Replace - Then we Replace things that are missing like digestive enzymes or vitamins and minerals.

Restore - After that, we seek to Restore the beneficial support and natural functioning of that body system like using probiotic reseeding to restore the beneficial bacteria in the gut or the nutrients needed to produce adequate serotonin functioning in the brain.

Repair / Recuperate - The final step – which is the most important and the longest step – is to Repair / Recuperate the body system. By this stage, we have given a dysfunctional body system what it needs to begin to be a functional body system and we now work with supporting the body system in the critical elements needed to resume optimal functioning.

Whew!

That’s a lot different than taking a drug for 10 days – or for life! But of course, the results are a lot different too. Functional rebalancing can help prevent the 2 million deaths a year that are the result of environmental, behavioral, and lifestyle choices – and drugs don’t do that.

Individualized Functional Health Successive Treatment Plans Program

When you do a Functional Health Test from me here is what it makes possible for you:

1. A complimentary Interpretation and Review Session to go over your test results and what they mean for you.
2. Then, most Functional Health Test results require successive Treatment Plans to implement the 4 Rs (Remove, Replace, Restore, and Repair/Recuperate). For example, most GI Health Panel test results require 6-12 Treatment Plans done monthly in order to return the GI system to optimal functioning. Remember we are not just trying to get rid of a symptom that will only reappear somewhere else or just take a drug (that you may have to take for the rest of your life!) to try and mask the appearance of the symptom. We are working to restore optimal physiological functioning to your body – a key step in deep healing.
3. If you make the logical and wise decision to treat the imbalances revealed in your Functional Health test through using the Functional Health Successive Treatment Plan Program all FHT Treatment Plans for an individual test will be $125 per month – that is a savings of almost half the current fee.
4. If you want to work on more than one FHT at a time (a good idea that can really spur progress along) – the fee for each Treatment Plan is $215 (normally $325).
5. During your Functional Health Successive Treatment Plan Program, you get continuous email follow-up with me. I am only an email away from any question or concern you have.
6. In most Functional Health Treatment Plans, I will give you key recommendations as appropriate in the areas of:

• Lifestyle
• Diet
• Herbs
• Nutritional Supplements
• Exercise
• Body Maintenance
• Personal Foundations

The Fine Print:

Monthly payments for your Functional Health Successive Treatment Plan Program are automatically processed by credit card on file or from your checking account by checks-by-phone each month.

Once you have agreed to do a Treatment Plan no refunds are given on the Treatment Plan fee.

You do have the option to cancel the Functional Health Successive Treatment Plan Program with a full month’s notice. For example, if your payments are due on the first of the month, and you wanted to cancel the program beginning in May you would need to notify me before April 1st . Your last payment and Treatment Plan would then be April 1st and starting in May no further payments would be made and you would receive no additional Treatment Plans.

As we go along in each of the Treatment Plan Programs, we may decide that additional assessments and/or functional tests are needed. If this is the case, they will be billed separately.

Also, if you chose to use any recommended herbal or supplement product obtained through Evenstar, they will be billed separately.

Supplements and other recommended remedies in a Treatment Plan are not included in any of the Treatment Plan fees. You will purchase these separately.

Although the intent is to adequately address all or at least the primary results of the functional tests and symptom picture, it may not be possible to do this the duration initially proposed. Additional phases including additional functional tests, Treatment Plans, and treatment time may be required and these will be billed accordingly.

Treatment Plans may include several added value features such as certain assessments and a follow up period. If you choose not to make use of any of these features there are no refunds given on your Treatment Plan fee. That fee will remain the same.

If you fall out of contact with me during a Functional Health Successive Treatment Plan Program period and have not cancelled the Program your automatic payments will continue to be processed as agreed even if you are not active during this period.

In those cases, the reminder of your Treatment Plans may be delivered to you as agreed and you can implement the recommendations at your own pace. The other option for completion is that the delivery of the agreed upon Treatment Plans (but not your payments) will be put on hold indefinitely from the time you fell out of contact with the Functional Health Successive Treatment Plan Program and you have the option of starting the Program up again where you left off at any time. You may choose either option for completion or it will be left at my discretion. Or you may cancel the program with a full month’s notice.
